Michele has served MDOT for over 23 years in construction, design, and geotechnical transportation engineering, now serving as a senior project manager for MDOT’s Metro Region office. Specializing in advanced technologies, Michele brings extensive experience in successful project planning, implementation, and execution at large scales. A multi-skilled professional who collaborates with teams to implement successful problem-solving strategies, Michele leads her teams to success and has demonstrated time and time again the benefit and promise that technology brings to safety, mobility, and environmental sustainability. Her specialty areas including Intelligent Transportation Systems, Connected, Automated, and Electrified Vehicles. Michele is an advocate for safety and has a long history of using both grant and partnership opportunities to bring innovative mobility solutions to Michigan.
