Jim Zane was the Senior Vice President at Corporate EG&G and General Manager of EG&G Idaho and Rocky Flats in the 1980s and 1990s. He spent his entire career in the nuclear industry, starting at the Experimental Breeder Reactor-I (EBR-I), the first power plant to produce electricity using atomic energy at the National Reactor Testing Station in Idaho (forerunner to today's INL), and concluding as the Senior VP with responsibility over EG&G's DOE government sites, including INEL and Rocky Flats. He has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Idaho, and he attended the MIT Sloan School of Business for Senior Executives at MIT.
