Biography

Ryan Bankerd, The Director of Automotive Sustainability for UPS, an Atlanta based Fortune 500 company most known for their package delivery and logistic services. Ryan is responsible for the decarbonization strategy adopted by UPS’s global delivery fleet. Over this 20+ year career he has developed and implemented sustainable automotive solutions while balancing the challenges that come with evolving regulation across the globe. Ryan currently sits on the board for North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) and Georgia Clean Cities as well as American Trucking Association Environmental & Energy Policy committee. With experience in all forms of energy used in transportation including biofuels and battery electric, Ryan and his team understand the complexity facing the industry today.
