Peter Jager, P.E., PTOE is a project manager in the technology and innovation group at UDOT. He has over 25 years of experience in the traffic engineering field, both in the public and private sector. As a project manager, he oversees the deployment of V2X devices and associated software to operate the system throughout Utah. Prior to working with devices for connected and automated vehicles, he was responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of over 500 traffic signals in Salt Lake and neighboring counties, including Continuous Flow, Diverging Diamond, Thru-Turn, and Utah’s first reversible lane system. Peter holds a BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Utah.
