Biography

Michael Weigelt is a research associate at the Chair of Factory Automation and Production Systems at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. There, he recently completed his doctorate on the topic of multidimensional option analysis of alternative drive concepts for individual long-distance mobility. As a project leader of publicly funded federal research projects, he is responsible for the development of innovative manufacturing technologies for the production and infrastructure integration of wireless power transfer systems. In his current position as co-founder of Seamless Energy Technologies GmbH, he wants to bring the results from research to industry to establish wireless power transfer systems in the market.
