Biography

Toru Miyazu is an Assistant Senior Research Engineer in the Innovative Technology Laboratory (Frontier) at the R&D Center of Kansai Electric Power Company, where he is engaged in the development of Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer and Energy Management Systems. Miyazu has long experience in transmission and distribution. He has been involved in maintenance and outage restoration work, consultation, design, and construction of special high-voltage, high-voltage, and low-voltage electricity supply methods, government pole-less construction (undergrounding), and the development of smart meters and other power distribution equipment.
