Veda Prakash Galigekere (Senior Member, IEEE) was born in Bangalore, India, in 1982. He received the B.E. degree in electrical engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Bangalore, in 2004, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Wright State University, Dayton, OH, USA, in 2007 and 2012, respectively. In 2008 and 2012, he was an Intern with General Electric Global Research Center, Bangalore. From 2012 to 2016, he was with Lear Corporation, Southfield, MI, USA. He is currently a Senior R&D Staff member and Group Leader of Electric Drives Research Group, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, TN, USA. His research interests include high-power wireless power transfer, high-frequency resonant converters, impedance source converters, and small-signal modeling and control of PWM modulation dc–dc converters. Dr. Galigekere has served as a Guest Associate Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER ELECTRONICS and is currently an Associate Editor for the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS.
