Biography

Stéphane Laporte, MS in Mechanical Engineering from INSA de Lyon is currently Project Manager at VEDECOM Institute which he represents in the European projects INCIT-EV and FABRIC project.

His current research interests include wireless charging technology, physical measurements, data fusion, EMF characterization, future transportation and charge systems, Electric Road Systems, transports safety and security. He has coordinated several European projects with former IFSTTAR (neo Gustave Eiffel University) researchers in different transport research areas. He has held previously several management position in the automotive industry at Faurecia, and in a National Laboratory context at LNE where he developed expertise in automotive safety, system durability, product development, experimental characterizations, instrumentation and laboratory management.
