Biography

William Carpenter is an experienced project developer, management/venture financing consultant and energy policy advisor helping clients successfully engage with governments, investors and project stakeholders worldwide. William is currently working with Elonroad, a Swedish EV charging infrastructure company, to identify pathways for entry into the US markets through the newly formed US subsidiary, Elonroad LLC. Additionally, William will help develop the supply chain and contractor relationships needed to support new customer installations, grid integration and ongoing system operation.

Prior to working with Elonroad, William founded TR Global Capital as a private equity investment and project development company organized to support emerging clean tech innovations to the point of commercial readiness and monetization. In 2012, William co-founded a $3.5 billion clean fuels project in Arkansas and served in the roles of Director and SVP Corporate Development alongside a team of notable political and international business leaders.

After graduate school, William was a successful management consultant and entrepreneur with clients ranging from government agencies, Fortune 100 corporations, nonprofits and startups. William’s past clients include the University of Michigan Health System, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Walmart, Sandia National Laboratories and Eli Lily. William graduated from the University of Rochester and University of Michigan.
