Biography

Jesse Schneider has spearheading efforts towards accelerating automotive electrification for the past 25 years in three continents: US/ EU/ Asia.

Jesse led efforts at BMW for Plug in Electric Vehicle Wireless Charging since 2007 and established the first standardization effort at SAE J2954. Prior to this he worked at Mercedes for fuel cell vehicle development as well as in parallel standardized high voltage and hydrogen emergency vehicle response and hydrogen fueling worldwide. Mr. Schneider was a founding member of the US DOE Electric and Hydrogen Safety Panel.

Currently he is the Executive Vice President of Technologies at Nikola Motor Company in Phoenix Arizona where he oversees heavy duty electrification, hydrogen fueling, fuel cell development for the next generation of Class 8 zero emissions trucks.
