Biography

Dr. Regan Zane is a David G. and Diann L. Sant Endowed Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Founder and Director of the Center for Sustainable Electrified Transportation (SELECT) and Power Electronics Lab at Utah State University. He leads a wide range of research programs in power electronics for electric vehicle drivetrains, conductive and wireless charging infrastructure, battery management systems, and dc and ac micro-grids. He has authored more than 150 peer reviewed publications and 20 patents and received numerous research, commercialization, and teaching awards. He was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Colorado at Boulder from 2001 – 2012 and a Senior Research Scientist at the GE Global Research Center in New York from 1999 – 2001.
