Biography

Richard Young is currently the Program Manager for the $4B reconstruction of I-294 (Central Tri-State) corridor, for the Illinois Tollway.

Prior to his current assignment for the Tollway, he was the Program Manager for the General Engineering Services contract for the Illinois Tollway, with engineering oversight on the $17B – 15yr. Capital Improvement program.

Both programs involved innovative opportunities to build a transportation system for the future including opportunities for static and dynamic wireless charging.

Mr. Young earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa and his Masters of Business Administration from DePaul University.
