Biography

After 25 years with UDOT, Tim Ularich recently retired in order to pursue energy related projects including microgrids, hydrogen, energy storage and other evolving technologies. During his time at UDOT, Tim worked over 12 years as the Deputy Statewide Maintenance Engineer. Tim has also taught photovoltaics as an adjunct professor at Salt Lake Community College and was the Utah Solar Association Vice President for a number of years. Some of his last projects at UDOT were helping develop State and Regional Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) plans as well as renewable energy and energy efficiency projects. Tim is licensed as a structural engineer and electrical contractor.
