Biography

Jason Marenda is a licensed professional engineer and the department manager for POWER Engineers’ Distribution Engineering group. He earned a master’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Idaho and studied engineering at both Clemson and Idaho State Universities. While in at POWER, he has overseen the growth of the department from its startup in 2012 to its current state of performing distribution engineering and studies for over 50 electric utilities throughout the US. Jason and his team have been involved in a wide range of electric vehicle and distributed energy resource projects for clients ranging from large IOUs to small co-ops and munis. He is passionate about helping his clients integrate clean power and increasing the adoption of zero emission vehicles.
