Biography

Dr. Andreas Wendt is project leader of the stationary and dynamic wireless power transfer activities at the Toyota Technical Center TMG, since 2014. These projects include experimental validation for international standardization activities (e.g. in SAE and ISO/IEC), as well as R&D focussing on new technology, materials and designs. In the last years, he was the technical leader of the Power Transferwork package within the German public funded ‘Stille’ project. These activities have focussed on a thoroughly investigation of the interoperability of different wireless power transfer systems.
