Biography

Rich Boyer is EMC and SI Technical Manager for Aptiv Signal and Power Solutions Division in Warren Ohio. He has worked in automotive EMC test lab at this location for over 40 years. He is an iNARTE EMC Engineer and lifetime iNARTE Master EMC Design Engineer. Rich is an active member of SAE EMC Committee and IEEE EMC Society. He is on the USTAG to; CISPR D WG1 & WG2, ISO TC22/SC32/WG3, and IEC TC46 WG 5, 6, 9, & 13. Rich serves as Co-Chair for SAE J2954 EV WPT Taskforce EMC Subcommittee for over 11 years. For SI Rich is a voting member of IEEE 802.3 Ethernet WG, SAE J3117 Member, and is Aptiv representative for MIPI A-PHI and PCIe-SIG. Rich’s main interest is in how automotive EMC is incorporated into the vehicle from individual components to systems to architecture.
