Biography

Stephen Spruell is a Chief Engineer for Southwire Company.  Starting with Southwire Company in 1990, Stephen spent almost 10 years in engineering roles within wire and cable operations for 3 different manufacturing locations. This included a plant startup which made Southwire’s first High Voltage Cables.  The remainder of his career has been in product development roles leading new product development and launch efforts.  Stephen is an inventor on over 30 issued US patents primarily in the field of wire and cable (products and processes).  Stephen holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Georgia.
