Biography

Dr. Stefan Tongur serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Electreon, the global leader in wireless charging solutions for electric vehicles (EVs). In this role, he oversees key projects in Michigan and Utah, spearheading Electreon’s strategic entry into the U.S. market. Renowned as the founder of the Electric Road System (ERS) definition, Stefan brings over a decade of experience addressing the challenges and opportunities of commercializing ERS technology across Europe and North America. Most recently, in collaboration with UCLA and Calstart, he played an instrumental role in securing California’s first wireless electric road project and advancing the electrification of multiple agencies, a milestone achievement in preparation for the Olympics.
