Biography

Jesse Schneider is the CEO/CTO at ZEV Station, whose mission is to replace the gas station with fast charging and hydrogen for all zero emission vehicles. For over 25 years, Jesse has been a pioneer in electrified vehicles and their infrastructure at major German automakers (BMW AG & Mercedes-Benz Research North America) as well as startups (Proton Motor & Nikola Motor). Always pushing the envelope, he developed both electric (BMW 530e)- & fuel cell vehicles (MB F-Cell and BMW 5 series GT) and their ZEV infrastructure. With the passion to help the environment, Jesse led world first standards for both hydrogen (SAE J2601 & ISO 19880-1) as well as wireless charging from light to heavy duty vehicles (SAE J2954). There, he spearheads collaboration with the industry, academia and government to bring ZEV technology from the development phase towards enabling the mass market. Jesse was a past keynote speaker (twice) at CERV and remains an avid supporter.
