Biography

John Kresse is the Director of the Hybrid and Electrification Technologies team in the Cummins Research & Technology department, based in Columbus, Indiana. In this role, he leads a team focused on the development of next-generation hybrid systems, electric machines, integrated electric propulsion drives, wireless charging, and complementary power electronics. This work spans both mobile and stationary applications, including deployment of EV charging and microgrid systems, with emphasis on identifying advanced innovative electrification technologies with true customer value.
