Biography

Barney Carlson: is a principal research engineer at Idaho National Lab’s (INL’s) Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Laboratory (EVIL). His research focuses on cybersecurity and cyber-physical security of advanced high power and bi-directional EV charging infrastructure. This research is in support of the U.S. DOE’s EVs@Scale Consortium and the U.S. DOE’s EV SALaD Program. Barney has over twenty-five years of experience with electrified vehicle technologies and is a graduate of the Univ. of California, Davis.
